REFLECTIONS ON CHANGI BEACH~ :)

CHANGI BEACH ON FRIDAY THE 13TH DURING HUNGRY GHOST FESTIVAL~

Sounds scary enough ? Well , how dirty the beach was even MORE SCARY! >.<
Our Group Reflections~
We think that we should not dirty the beach with our litters .

The litters will spoil the cleaniness of the beach thus giving a bad impression on tourists .
If there are sharp objects being thrown in the beach and sea , there will be people and marine animals being hurt and injured .
Litters such as Plastic bags contains petroleum thus is harmful . About 100,000 animals such as dolphins, turtles whales, penguins are killed every year due to plastic bags. Many animals ingest plastic bags, mistaking them for food, and therefore die. Others become entangled in plastic bags and drown.
Fishing line, netting, rope, bait box packaging bands and so on trap and strangle animals. Large marine animals such as seals and dolphins can starve to death when muzzled by plastic litter
Seabirds eat polystyrene balls and plastic buoys, after confusing them with fish eggs and crustaceans.

If sea creatures are being killed with our inconvenience and selfish thinking , there will be lesser sea creatures and one day , all sea creatures will be wiped out . By then , how will human beings survive ? So , WE SHOULD PROTECT THE BEACH! :D Our class 106 went to Changi Beach on 13 August to pick litters . There were MANY rubbish and the beach was VERY dirty .

BOOMZXC group think that we should have more of this excursion to pick litters so that the beach will be clean :)
